The Beginning

After completing my B.E Degree (Batchelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering) in 1994, I worked for a few years in companies that were small in size but big on working on the latest technologies.  This helped me become skilled in various key technologies very quickly.  My ambition to lead the change made me complete my ITIL and Prince2 Practitioner Certification and helped me move to my new role as a Program Manager for a global program.

My work at Stage

My current role in Stage is that of Programme Manager of a global project handling over 700 applications.  I am currently based in Warley (Essex) and the role involves virtually managing and co-ordinating activities with teams globally on a daily basis and also travelling within Europe on a regular basis to meet the teams.  As part of the role, I am involved in defining the Methodology and processes that the project managers involved in the program need to follow.  This is a very challenging role which I am really enjoying as I am involved in defining and executing the complete process for the program.

Life at Stage

My Stage colleagues who I work with at our client location are very friendly and helpful.  It is easy to sit around with them and do a brain drain to find solutions to any complex issues.  What I like most is the variety of things to do, which allows me to interact with different people whilst building upon my experience.

The Future

Within over 15 years of success in the IT industry, my drive is to move to a leadership role in a multi platform challenging environment.  I would like to use my ITIL and Management experience to deliver results efficiently and effectively.  I am also in the process of joining the Warwick MBA program in order to give me a further detailed insight into efficient and effective management.
